“Working at Hank Deenen has been a huge learning experience. The large variety of equipment that is available and the training that’s provided has taught me a lot of skills that I didn’t have before I started.

I like the fact that we have a lot of different types of sites because it is like having a different job every day. Also even when it rains we are given things to work on to keep us busy so we don’t lose the day.

Learning to become a foreman has probably been the greatest challenge for me so far. Not only am I responsible for our quality of work but I am also responsible for the safety of my crew members. I am learning to be a teacher and a landscaper at the same time.”
