The Certified Horticultural Technician designation provides an individual employed in the horticulture industry with a means of proving a standard of expertise in tasks typically required within the horticultural industry.

Hank Deenen Landscaping offers a comprehensive training program and study materials for the CHT to their employees. With advice and guidance from other certified personnel achieving the CHT status is obtainable to dedicated individuals.

The CHT program is designed for employees in the horticulture industry who are involved in the technical application of skill and knowledge. CHT is available in four classifications: Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Construction, Retail Garden Centre, and Interior Landscaping.

Certified Landscape Professional (CLP)

The CLP program is designed for owners and managers of horticulture companies. By focusing on the business skills required to run a successful operation. The Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) designation denotes competence in the challenging task of managing a business.
In order to qualify to take the test experience requirements must be met. Candidates earn their CLP by successfully completing a series of seven written evaluations.
